“The tastefully furnished interiors provide a comfortable and relaxing environment”
Alto Mare Villa offers a perfect combination of design and style. The villa has been thoughtfully constructed to make the most of the exceptional location and surroundings. The panoramic sea views and spectacular sunsets are beautifully framed by the large picture window, whilst the eclectic furnishings complement the light and spacious interiors.
The interior furniture, a tasteful combination of Bauhaus and original old Balinese pieces. This adds a sense of style and comfort, not usually found in holiday accommodation.
The main entrance to the villa is on the upper level, directly into the 80 m² living room with huge picture window allowing a commanding view of the seascape and magnificent sunsets. From here there is direct access to the upper teak terraces and main swimming pool. The fully equipped kitchen and guest cloakroom are also on this level.
The lower garden level can be accessed via the internal staircase and also from a separate entrance outside. On this level you will find 4 double bedrooms, each with an amazing sea view. There is also a small office room and library. Two of the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and two share a very large bathroom. All bedrooms have air conditioning, wooden floors, double beds and extensive views.
From this level there is direct access to the garden terrace and 2nd swimming pool.
“300 square meters of teak decking, abundant with outdoor furniture, ensures that visitors can enjoy outdoor living to the full”
The views from Alto Mare are incredible and it is therefore no surprise that the layout of the extensive terraces and facilities, take full advantage of this
There are two swimming pools – one on each level. The main infinity pool is newly tiled and located on the upper level. This measures 8 metres x 4 metres and can be accessed directly from the main sitting room.
The garden level pool is located on the lower terrace and can be directly accessed from the bedroom terraces.
To ensure that guests are always comfortable, there are shaded sitting and eating areas as well as an abundance of outside furniture and umbrellas. These include rattan chairs with cushions, stylish teak loungers and upright chairs.

About the Owner
I ran a successful restaurant business in Fiscardo from the early 1990s. It took me some time to locate the perfect plot to build my home, but I finally found it and finished building Villa Alto-Mare in 2001.
After selling my small business, I took a break and spent amazing long Summers with family and friends in this exceptional setting. I decided to rent the villa in 2008 and it’s success was immediate. Holidaymakers fell in love with my house and 70% of those who now rent it are returning guests!
I am still able to make the most of my place in the Autumn and early Spring, and in the Summer I live 5 km away on the east coast. I potter around the coves in my little speedboat, and enjoy an excellent quality of life in this magical place. But, to tell you the truth, I do miss my stunning Summer sunsets at Alto Mare…
